A happier Dougal

Today has seen further improvement in the Behaviour of the Rear Admiral. Not only today did he not bolt to the cave in fear the minute he saw me, he actually came out to see what was happening when I was cleaning the cage. Definately he is a lot shyer than Jack, who thinks that cage cleaing is THE most exciting thing in this world.

I cleaned out their pen proper today with disinfectant and all, and they are now living in luxury again. And I forced them both down for cuddles today. I had planned to let them run wild and free in International The Jack and Dougal Day Of Fun, but due to me working myself far too hard (and not feeling too great that was postponed)

This evening I gave them a whole corn on the cob to munch on. It was like throwing a cabybara carcass into a shoal of crazed piranhas.
