A fresh start
I've been bad and not updating this, just thinking of all the sweet Jack and Dougal memories I'm losing makes me sad. Jack and Dougal are in very fine condition. I swear they've gotten fatter since I left them with my mum for that 3 weeks, they both have little double chins.
They've been back to the vet 3 times to see a really nice lady vet and she's been giving them drops of Ivomectin on their skin. She says they shouldn't need to go back so hopefully thats all better.
Jack has gotten so brave and used to me I can't believe it. He used to run in fear if I even moved my hand to scartch my head, but now i can step right over him and he doesn't bother. He even fell asleep stretched out and comfortable today right beside where I was cleaning the cage out. He was very VERY excited about the cage cleaning and popcorned and ran around like an absolutely mental little thing. He kept running up to me, and I'd tickle him on the head and he'd be running off again in excitment at the game. I took him downstairs today as well and he enjoyed that run around.
Dougal is very jumpy and lurks a lot in the tents I have made for them. He likes to grab his food from the bowl and drag it back to safety. Yesterday night I was really upset and tried to pick up Dougal for comfort and he bit me. I love Dougal.
